Peeled tiger nuts are obtained by scraping the outside of the tuber mechanically, in such a way that we eliminate part of their skin and make their consumption as a snack easier. Since this process is purely mechanical, it is 100% organic.
The peeled tiger nut retains all the nutritional properties and health benefits of the full tiger nut, with the advantage that by losing part of the skin, its raw consumption is made simpler and more appetizing.
Chufas Bou is a pioneer in the commercialization of Valencian organic peeled tiger nuts. The objective of this product is to ease the consumption of tiger nuts as a sweet and soft raw snack as if it were a dried fruit.
It is recommended to keep the tiger nut in a cool and dry place, at a temperature below 8ºC and away from sunlight. The peeled tiger nuts are more delicate because they do not have part of its skin. It is advisable to set a best before date within a maximum period of one year after its packaging.

Our Valencian peeled tiger nuts are certified by the Committee of Ecological Agriculture of the Valencian Community that periodically evaluates and examines our production and, by the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin, meaning of quality and authenticity that proves its cultivation in Alboraya (Valencia). The process is integrated into our HACCP plan guaranteeing a product of the highest quality.
